» Welcome to De Gustibus Network

The De Gustibus Network Association has been founded for several reasons:

- to support small agricultural farmers: help farmers find market space for their goods, involving advertising and general dissemination of information about the producers;

- to safeguard and promote the environment: plan themed itineraries sometimes involving bicycle, horse, and vehicular excursions;

- to promote traditional Italian agriculture: develop a better recognition of quality food products and the culture of eating well.

The De Gustibus Network association was created for those who travel and want to connect with a reality often unknown or forgotten.
De Gustibus Network is in the process of developing an even-larger network of friends who can get to know and understand old and new flavors from a terrain that has much to offer.
Our associates therefore experience an alternative wellbeing that is outside the logic of the mass market.
De Gustibus Network additionally aims to defend the variety and the complexity of flavors, tastes, and characteristics, retaining integrity and respect for the place and culture of origin.

And to those who are not in agreement, we simply remind that:
"De Gustibus non disputandum est!" (One's taste is not a subject to discuss).

By associating yourself with DE GUSTIBUS you'll be able to:

1) producers/agriturismo and B&B, country inns & lodgings, vacation homes will take advantage of many opportunities, such as:

- the promotion of their products, along with better market exposure through our web site, and materials (brochure, publications) tied to itineraries and excursions, events, and fairs that DE GUSTIBUS will promote or partecipate in.
These activities serve to create the foundations for the collaboration between producers (sometimes in different regions) and to establish contact with new clients.

2) Memberships will take advantage of many opportunities, such as:

- food & events (tastings, aperitifs, dinners) and tasting tours outside the main tourist circles, in order to connect with the characteristic and artisan producers of Tuscany and other localities;

- facilities for the acquisition of products and discounts from our affiliates;

- joining our mailing list to receive news and updates on our latest events.

De Gustibus Network association, in collaboration with organizations established in various areas of Tuscany, proposes to its members an interesting choice of different food & wine tours. From walking tours and itineraries to the use of balloons, bike, horses and "vespa scooters", our tours are thought and organized with a sustainable approach.

» Wine and Food Producers

The producer-associates of "typical" Tuscany (food/wine and agricultural products) and of De Gustibus Network must follow strict criteria to be associated: they must be small businesses, mostly of family run production, or specifically not dedicated to mass production, and without brand affiliation…due to such specific characteristics, these are the producers often deprived of promotional support and visibility on the market.

» B&B, Farmhouses & Villas selected by De Gustibus

As we usually do for producers, De Gustibus Network selects all the accommodations listed below following the criteria of sustainability and family run business, taking good care and attention to the land, the people and the animals they work with. Bed and breakfast, farmhouses and "agriturismo", villas and holiday houses that work with De Gustibus will show you the most genuine and autenthic side of Tuscany.

If you wish to spend a holiday on a "real agriturismo", at the farmhouse of a family working in agriculture, producing wine, olive-oil, cheese or raising cattle, please contact us and we will find for your an adequate accommodation: small or large apartments, rooms for rent and B&B in all areas of Tuscany.
